Whitney Gherman (she/her/hers) is a social justice Educator who supports community members with knowledge and resources to engage in meaningful dialogue and produce positive outcomes for racial healing, healthy food access, trauma informed care, and affordable housing. Grants have supported her work on bottom-up organizing and shared group leadership. In 2020 she was recognized by The Ohio State University for outstanding achievement of community-university partnerships and more recently, received a national diversity award in her field.

Whitney received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Recently, she earned a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate from The Ohio State University.
