2008 Marion County Older Youth Opportunities

Click here for Older Youth Special Fair Opportunities!
Over the years many 4-H'ers and alumni have benefited from these various awards and I encourage you to participate. If you are interested in ANY of the following camps, etc.... take a few minutes and fill out the necessary forms. You never know, you could be the next 4-H member traveling to Washington, D.C. or serving as an Ohio 4-H Ambassador ... the possibilities are endless! Call 223-4040 or e-mail sanderson.51@osu.edu.
Helpful hints:
- Start early and take your time filling out the forms.
- Be as detailed as you can. List as many of your accomplishments in or out of 4-H as possible. You may not think it is important, but the selection committee might.
- Have someone proofread your work. Mom or dad may have some helpful ideas or catch a misspelling.
- Apply for one or all awards you are eligible for, even if you're not sure you can attend.
- Be neat and legible. Typed is preferred, but not necessary. Just remember, if you don't try, you may regret it!
